Payment, Cancellation & Membership Terms and Conditions
The Not So Secret Tarot Society is $350 total, structured as:
By joining, you're committing to the full length of the Society and the full $350. Because the society doesn't accept new members after September, your payments directly fund the group's ability to run through January.
What members get:
Refunds: You can receive a full refund if you cancel at least 14 days before your initiation date. Refund deadlines by initiation date:
After that 14-day window, all payments are final and non-refundable: including any remaining monthly payments still owed, even if you stop attending or decide to leave early.
Failed or declined payments: If a monthly payment fails, we'll work with you to get it resolved. If it can't be settled, access to meetings and society resources may be paused until payment is made.
Meetings & Initiations: You'll pick 1 of 4 initiation dates after your deposit is received. If none of the 4 dates work due to a scheduling conflict, reach out and we'll set up a 45-minute 1:1 instead. Weekly meeting signups open monthly, first come first served, and you're guaranteed at least one slot a month, if you miss it, you can reschedule within that month if space allows. Sessions aren't recorded, so live attendance (or a rescheduled slot) is the only way to be part of them.
Membership termination: Membership may be revoked at any time, without refund, for behavior that compromises the safety, respect, or trust of the group, this includes harassment, hate speech, or any conduct that goes against the spirit of the society. Remaining payments are still owed even if membership is revoked.
Zine & content ownership: You retain ownership of the content you personally contribute. By submitting content, you grant Maggie permission to include, print, and mail it as part of the zine for society members. Maggie owns the zine as a compiled publication. Your content and identifying information will not be sold, used in marketing, or shared outside the society without your consent.

Changes to these terms: These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your sign-up is the one that applies to you.
